The subscription starts with a personalized letter explaining your gift. During checkout, you can give us specific instructions for delivery. Some customers may want to hand deliver the letter themselves or have the letter delivered near a specific date. We can accommodate almost any request.
Within two weeks, the first book will arrive. After that, we will continue to send a book each month until the end of the subscription.
What are the theme packages?
We offer theme packages to help personalize your gift. For younger children, our variety pack will work fine. With older children, you may want to choose a package that fits their interest. Our animal theme, for example, contains books that have a lot of animal characters and themes. If the child is a fan of Dora cartoons, we will send books that fit that theme.
If the child has a special interest that isn’t listed, choose our custom theme package and we’ll be sure to put together a custom theme just for you.
If there is a special book you would like included in the subscription, let us know and we’ll be sure to include it (in rare cases, an extra charge may apply).
What about duplicates?
We will send an email, a week in advance of your next shipment, which explains the next book choice. If the selection is a book the child already has, just email us back and we’ll make a different choice. If you have purchased a second subscription for a child, please note that during checkout and we’ll be sure to exclude books already shipped.
What about shipping?
The cost of shipping (inside the United States) is included in your subscription!
